Parent Mentors are community-based volunteers who offer expertise and experience in various fields that may be of interest to parents and guardians. Whether just starting up, growing a business or deciding on a specific career path is right, a Parent Mentor may be the best next step for you.
Parent Mentors are matched to parent mentees and provide individual guidance on a schedule mentor and mentee co-design. A parent mentor helps a parent succeed in the present before grooming him/her for the future. A 12- to 18-month timeline for a mentor and mentee relationship is often most effective.
