There are many ways to get involved at Educare Flint and we urge families to learn more about enrollment and family engagement opportunities.

Educare Flint also benefits tremendously from volunteer support, including reading support, enrollment and recruitment assistance and field trips. Please contact us to learn more.

PARENT mentoring

Parent Mentors are community-based volunteers who offer expertise and experience in various fields that may be of interest to parents and guardians. Whether just starting up, growing a business or deciding on a specific career path is right, a Parent Mentor may be the best next step for you.

Parent Mentors are matched to parent mentees and provide individual guidance on a schedule mentor and mentee co-design. A parent mentor helps a parent succeed in the present before grooming him/her for the future. A 12- to 18-month timeline for a mentor and mentee relationship is often most effective.
